Rosen congratulations on Solidcore's acquisition by McAfee. Wishful thinking that I was still there during the transition. You are a catalyst for success, a creative genius in fact. You demonstrate often your technology vision and how to entrepreneurially position a venture opportunity for success. I'm flattered to have been a part of Solidcore and being able to call you my friend. I enjoy your wisdom and leadership.

I'm fairly sure that I'm either sanely insane or insanely sane. Let me ponder that thought. :-)

Regards,
Jody

Hi Mr. Sharma,

I have enjoyed reading your blog. You have great insight, and a practical, customer-centric view for products and trends.

My company makes a fault mgmt appliance that deploys into network locations to provide immediate notification, diagnosis, and resolution of network faults. We actually fix problems within minutes, that otherwise take awhile.

We're definitely bucking trends towards software, as we deploy in an appliance. But there isn't any other way to fix the problems that otherwise result in site visits or lots of needless time executing triage.

Are we crazy or are we on to something? (note: we have over 100 customers today, so we definitely are growing, but I'm wondering if this will only be a niche...)

Thanks,
Michael

Mr. Sharma:

Good afternoon. Glad to see that all is still going well with Solidcore. Unfortunately, I have never had a chance to speak with you. However, two years ago I spoke with Monico Mallari during a phone interview while I was working and living in the Chicago, IL area. At the time, I had to decline going forward with Solidcore due the fact that the travel requirements were too harsh.

Prior to speaking with Monico, I conversed with Donna Vieraitis, Jay Vaishnav Bob Wenzel, John "Jody" Feigle, and Michael Betti.

Since then, I've kept my eye on Solidcore and still feel that the company is still performing well. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to the opportunity of having a chance to work at Solidcore Inc. in the future.

Sincerely,

Hello,
I have been an avid follower of your blog, circular Insanity , so much so that I am hooked on to your blog every morning .After checking my inbox, a check-in to your blog has beome a regular feature for me.
One interesting development around bladelogic and BMC now is what will happen now to their alliance with tripwire.Do you think BMc are better off now with Bladelogic or tehy should continue their alliance with tripwire.Interesting situation will begin to evolve if solicore gets acquired by other of the big four like CA or EMC maybe?
